I did it! Walked, danced, swam, and wrote my way to 50 miles! Such an honor to move for peace with this community, and I hope the money we raise will enable the kids of Tripoli, Lebanon to have the same joy and freedom we’ve had this past month!

Went on a quick walk before it started raining and getting windier outside. I (and my cat Azula hehe) just want to thank everyone here for participating in Move for Peace, for changing the lives of 425 children in Lebanon, and for creating such a beautiful and motivating community here. So grateful for each of you here and the impact you continue to make in this world! Each year we invite our Preemptive Love community of peacemakers from around the world to move for peace. It’s an invitation to move in solidarity with our refugee friends across Syria, Iraq, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Lebanon, and Afghanistan- to tell their stories, bring peacemaking into our communities, and remember that we all belong to each other.
During the month of September, our community will run, bike, skate, craft, dance, and move in whatever ways feels most authentic for each person, all while fundraising in our personal networks. We invite you to help us reach a $120,000 fundraising goal which will fully fund Play for Peace – a soccer club and self defense program for refugee children in Tripoli, Lebanon.
Ticket fees help us put on a great event, but Preemptive Love relies on fundraisers and direct donations.
Play for Peace Impact
Your impact will include:
- 6 months of soccer club for 350 children in Tripoli, Lebanon
- 6 months of self defense classes for 75 girls in Tripoli, Lebanon

Our goal is to raise $120,000 to fund our Play for Peace initiative in Lebanon - and we need your help to do so!

This challenge is an opportunity for you to get moving and raise funds for Preemptive Love & Play For Peace - a soccer club and self defense program for children in Tripoli, Lebanon.
