Who Am I?
I am an aspiring clinician (Orthotist or Prosthetist). I have completed the prosthetic and orthotic technician program at GBC and have worked in the field for about a year. I have recently been accepted into a school program to work towards becoming a clinician and am excited for the start of this new journey! In school, in the past I have had struggled with school due to a learning disability, but with the support of many people and perseverance, I learned to cope and still succeed. I have found the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics, where I am able to help others navigate there barriers and find their own way of being successful!
Why Am I Fundraising?
I am getting mobile in May with the hope of raising 100$ for @ROMPglobal (#ROMPEveryDay) because I believe all amputees should have access to good prosthetic care! Every dollar goes directly to helping amputees get access to high-quality prosthetic care and follow up services they need to be fully mobile again. Also, prosthetic device can be expensive.
