I'm a lifelong skier and sports enthusiast. Nature is my happy place. Or a good TV binge.
While growing up I had a grandmother and a classmate who both used prosthetics. As an adult, I now have even more friends and family using a range of prosthetics to assist them in their quality of life. I'm thankful for the experiences I have practicing patience and caretaking with my Grandmother. Her prosthetic was a literal wooden leg and required a lot of care and upkeep. She passed away while I was in High School, but everytime I see as prosthetic leg, I wish my Grandma could see how far the technology has come. I've known of ROMP, the Range of Motion Project, for a few years now, and I've seen the difference they make. Mobility is sacred, and I hope to help make it possible for others. Now let's get moving and raise some funds for ROMP!
