Who Am I?

Hi, I am Emily Cabitac. I am a wife to Dewey and mother of 3 uniquely rambunctious boys. Our family believes that there's no option except to live life to the fullest! One of my core values is that God made our bodies HARD TO KILL. (Yeah!) So my mission is to take care of the body God gave me by functionally moving, nourishing, and resting. I joined this challenge to help bring awareness and encourage others to take charge of their cardio health!

Why Am I Fundraising?

My grandparents and parents have a history of heart disease, and my goal is for this disease to stop with our generation. Heart disease is impacted by our lifestyle. My desire is for us to get "heart educated" and apply what we learn to our own lives, that we may finally eradicate this illness from the list of medical maladies. Change starts from WITHIN. Please partner with me as we educate ourselves and others about our beautiful hearts and change our habits to make us heart healthy.
