Founded in 2010, Hopeprint, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves communities of resettled refugees and new Americans in Syracuse, NY, Kansas City, KS, and St. Louis, MO. In our second decade, we strive to be a holistic community development organization, focusing on where people and place converge by addressing the social cohesion struggle faced by our community members, individualized community navigation, and equitable neighborhood development driven by neighborhood residents towards fostering a community where they can prosper in place.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our communities to make this work a reality so our families can prosper in place. As we walk together, we hope to educate and unify our diverse communities around the world and invite them to be part of our Hopeprint Family.

What is the challenge format?
Our fundraiser, Walk the World, is in its third year and involves a 5-month community fitness challenge with educational cultural activities throughout for all ages! Registrants will complete monthly milestones that correspond with real-world locations across all continents. By the end, we will have walked a collective total of 24,901mi, or the circumference of the Earth! Throughout the event there will be other fitness or non-physical activities for all ability levels, such as yoga or cooking, that can be done in place of walking to contribute to our mileage goal.
Who can participate?
Everyone is invited to join the challenge. The more the merrier. Please share with your friends, family, and colleagues.
