Who Am I?
Hi, we are Sabrina and Kenny (aka Sabrenny) and are excited to participate in this years Climb for a Cure in support of Colorectal Cancer (CRC). We are both involved in healthcare and have a passion for patient care. Help us to Climb for a Cure!
Why Am I Fundraising?
CRC is very personal and impacts many people around the globe. One very harsh reality is that the majority of cases are found too late to treat. This is why research and screening are especially important. Our family member has been diagnosed and recovered from CRC through sheer luck. If not for a routine procedure that allowed the discovery of the CRC our mother may not be with us today. At 40 years old she was diagnosed. Too young to screen today, and back then there was no screening. Early detection is key, let's raise funds and awareness to get people screened, especially those who are high risk. Thank you.
