Climb For Chris

I climb for Chris. My husband, Chris, helped start Climb For A Cure in 2016. Chris lived his life climbing mountains in many ways, he continuously pushed himself to grow and learn and do better, and he motivated others to do the same. Chris climbed up and down the "cancer mountain" from 2012 until his final ascent in the summer of 2018. Our son, Christopher, and I continue to Climb in his honor, and we bring his spirit with us every step of the way! Please join us by climbing with us in Tahoe, participating in a Community Climb or Create-Your-Own Climb, and/or by donating! Happy Climbing! :)

Colorectal cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death among men and women combined in the United States. By 2030, it is estimated that colorectal cancer will be the leading cause of cancer death for 20-49 year olds. This is not okay and hits close to home! We have lost too many young people (too many people!) to this disease that is preventable and curable if caught early! Please know the signs, symptoms, and your family history of colorectal cancer. Get screened if you are 45 or older-or sooner if you have symptoms or a family history. Talk to your doctor! Talk to your family and friends! Help us spread the word and prevent more deaths. And, please, donate if you can to help us raise funds for cutting-edge research and advocacy. Join us on the path to a cure!
