Who Am I?

I love to run and hike so this is the perfect opportunity for me to use what I already love doing, to support a great cause! I remember the fun I had doing science fair projects when I was a kid. It really showed me how vast the world of science is! I hope kids can continue to experience the fun and creativity that comes with learning more about the world around us through science!

Why Am I Fundraising?

If my excitement for the world of science was ever at a peak, I think it was this past year watching so many science professionals banning together in the fight against the pandemic.  I am proud to play a supportive role in a company that has a direct impact on the world of science and innovation, and has had its hand in directly supporting covid-19 vaccinations!  I hope to raise $2 for each km I run/hike to support the work that the Science Fair Foundation does in creating opportunities for kids to explore our world of science, here in BC.  I hope that some of these kids will become future scientists and continue to find ways to make this world a safe and fun place to live!
