Together for Cure Cancer – now more than ever!

HIIT CANCER BACK!

If, like many, COVID-19 is wreaking havoc with your keep fit plans, fear not! We’ve got a solution that will keep you healthy whilst also helping Cure Cancer! Put your cancelled gym membership money to good use and sign up to our virtual HIIT Cancer Back community, then get your friends and family involved too.

Together – Let’s sweat it to raise vital funds for cancer research! You can sign up and take part in our challenge until June 30. Look out for new workouts to get your body moving and your heart pumping.

Now’s a great time to get all your mates involved – all you have to do is share a Sweaty Selfie on your social media channel and nominate five of your pals to sign up to HIIT CANCER BACK! in your caption, then email a screengrab of your post to Becky. We’ll send you a 10% discount code to spend at Brooks Running to say thanks, and for every purchase you make using the code, Brooks will donate an additional 10% to Cure Cancer.

Remember, every friend that signs up to HIIT CANCER BACK! means we fund another 2.5 hours of cancer research. Every hour brings us one step closer to a cure.

Together let’s HIIT CANCER BACK!

Our wonderful ambassador and all-round sports super star Katie Williams has joined our HIIT CANCER BACK community to inspire you, even on the most doona-worthy of days! Join Team Katie today, share a sweaty selfie or two and see your name in the big lights on Katie’s leaderboard! When it comes to training, Katie knows all there is to know and then some – watch out for her exclusive 30-minute HIIT workout coming soon

A digital community

You will participate in the Virtual Race on the atlasGO app. You will be able to track your workouts, post sweaty selfies and share virtual high-fives with the community.

Cure Cancer is dedicated entirely to funding early career researchers. Since 1967, we’ve identified, assessed and funded research that we believe has the best possible chance of finding a cure, investing over $69m into research for all cancers, including rare cancers.

Our researchers are some of the smartest scientists and medical researchers on the planet, and we know that these brilliant young minds have the best chance of finding the answers we need. They just need the funding to be able to bring their ideas to life.

As the global COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, our thoughts are with health workers and those who are most vulnerable during this difficult time, particularly those currently undergoing cancer treatments.

147,956 cases of cancer are estimated to be diagnosed in Australia this year. That’s an increase of over 3,000 in 2019. While the situation is challenging, we want to use this opportunity to strengthen our community so that we can keep funding life-saving cancer research.

Our researchers won’t stop, and neither will we. We remain committed to raising funds, providing hope and enabling ground-breaking cancer research.

We will only cure cancer with research.

We need your support now, more than ever
