Thank You for your participation in the Start Giving Local Resilience, Run, Ride Move Challenge. Our in-app team participants have moved for over 1800 miles and over 815 hours. Our collective team (in-app and independent) moved for over 5000 miles! We have heard from many of you that this challenge was individually meaningful: personal bests achieved, wellness goals reached, needed emotional support received. We want to congratulate each of you for your participation. (A special note of congratulations to our “LeaderBoard” winner: Mackenzie Hornibrook!) In addition to the positive personal impact our effort also enabled our team to make a broader community impact. We are distributing over 750 masks and wellness kits. We are supporting 10 local businesses (selected by team participants.) with gift certificate purchases. The gift certificates purchased will be used to support volunteer athletes participating in an upcoming endurance event on behalf of charity causes. Our collective impact is meaningful. Although this challenge is ending our focus on community wellness is more important than ever. We have several upcoming events including our participation as an official charity partner at the Philadelphia Marathon. Join us! We hope that you enjoyed participating in this challenge nearly as much as we appreciate you participating. We’d love to be tagged in pics of you in your SGL t-shirts they should be arriving soon! Please join our mailing list & follow us on social to learn more about upcoming events.
Congratulations! If you are logging in today you have reached the official conclusion of our community wellness challenge. Our team movement has allowed us to distribute 570 masks & wellness kits to those in need. Hopefully this challenge has also offered a positive personal impact. By joining this challenge I’ve learned that when I make time for self care I am able to offer a more supportive and empathetic version of myself to the world I interact with each day. Have you had any realizations as part of this process? I’ll follow up at the end of the day to read your answers & provide an update on our impact and how you can stay involved with our nonprofit. Congratulations!
