It’s Wellness Wednesday! How are you? As we approach the end of this challenge, I want to take a moment to congratulate each of you for showing up to support one another and to help those in need by taking part in this movement challenge. Our team participation is helping us provide much needed resources including masks and wellness care kits to those in need. In addition to those individuals logging her in app we also have team members participating offline. For example- I have also been participating with an offline team that has committed to run a 5k a day in the month of May. This picture is actually a composite of all those participating in that group of athletes. If any of you are interested in taking on a 5k a day Challenge in June in support of charity- ping me and I’ll gladly get you details. I also want to take a moment to congratulate this past weekends social share winner. For the second time since our challenge began, Allison Lindemann is the winner. Yesterday was the half way point in the 5k a day in May challenge I’m participating in for SGL. It was also my fastest run in years. Yesterday’s run was a wonderful reminder that positive moments can be found even during challenging times. Sometimes challenging moments help you find your inner strength. Has anyone else experienced any “silver lining wins” during this challenge?

This #wellnesswednesday I want to take a moment to welcome our newest members into the challenge. I am/ we are so excited you joined us. If this is your first time in an AtlasGO virtual challenge please know that each activity you log not only helps you step closer to your personal wellness goals but, it also helps our charity step closer to our impact goals. Different activities log 💚 at different rates but they all count! I’m personally running a 5k a day in May for this event and if anyone wants to join me, I’d love to support you back. However, please also know that this challenge is highly customizable. Set the wellness goals that best support your personal objectives. These are particularly busy/stressful times for many of you and if running a 5k is unrealistic there are a lot of other ways to sneak in activity: dance in your kitchen while your coffee is brewing, meditate between morning meetings, or end the day with 10 minutes of restorative yoga. There are countless ways to fit micro-movement activities into your routine. I’m a fan of sneaking in squats between flights of stairs in my house. :) I’d love to hear your challenge goals. Finally, this challenge also gives you an opportunity to win Prizes while participating, like our winner of this weekends social media tag challenge: Allison Lindemann.
